Shahid & Sonam celebrate MAUSAM music success

The MAUSAM team is high on music as they rejoiced their music success party yesterday along with the entire cast and crew of the film.

Shahid Kapur, Sonam Kapoor, Pankaj Kapoor, Supriya Pathak and music director Pritam all came together to celebrate the success of their film's music with one and all.

Director Pankaj Kapur kick started the party by addressing everyone and sharing his experience of the journey of MAUSAM and film's music.

He spoke about how MAUSAM's music and promos are being appreciated by everyone throughout India and this love story comes across as breathe of fresh air.

MAUSAM will bring back the true classic love story that people have not seen in a very long time and the pairing of Shahid and Sonam will re-create the innocence and purity of the feeling we all long for - 'Love'.

Shahid on the other revealed how Pritam was his father's first choice for the music of the film as he believed that the only person to communicate the true passionate love through music for the story of MAUSAM is Pritam and no one less could do such great work.

Pritam also revealed that he was extremely nervous to meet 'The Pankaj Kapur' for the first time and had asked Shahid to accompany him for the meeting.

Sonam Kapoor shared her thoughts by expressing that the music of the film is actually the 'soul' of MAUSAM's script and it is the most important element that touches a chord with the audiences, so it's great to know that the people are loving the music and listening to it in loop.

The event ended with a splash as Anil Kapoor popped opened the champagne and congratulated the entire MAUSAM's team for the success of their music.

The film's producer Mr. Sheetal Vinod Talwar from Cinergy and Ram Mulchandani from Eros International were also present at the event.
