Mukul Dev - the 'Jat' on a buffalo mission!

Actor Mukul Dev made a good debut opposite the then fresh Miss Universe, Sushmita Sen, in DASTAK (1996). In fact he is one of the rare survivors from that era and is still managing to get substantial roles despite stiff competition from the younger brigade.

He was seen earlier this year in the all Deol super hit comedy, YAMLA PAGLA DEEWANA, essaying the important role of Gurmeet (Billa). Mukul is presently shooting for Shawn Arranha directed TUKKA FIT, also starring Mahakshay.

Disclosing as to why he opted for full-fledged comedy instead of going negative (for variety) like brother Rahul, Mukul says, "I have done a few negative roles down South and essaying one in the Girish Malik directed JAL (a film about River Narmada drying up). In the laugh riot TUKKA FIT I have a great role. I play a 'Jat' from Haryana who is on a mission to recover money for his buffalo!"

Well, having talked to Mahakshay (Mimoh) and now Mukul Dev, we are surely excited about this mad comic caper TUKKAA FIT which releases next February.
