Zayed: Dia, Sahil and I played different roles

As he looks forward to the film's release, Zayed is glad that his professional association with close friends Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha is reaping good benefits for all. While the three of them are co-producers of their maiden venture LOVE, BREAKUPS, ZINDAGI, Sahil is also the director of the film.

"It has been a team effort at the end of the day," he smiles, "I am glad to say that Dia and Sahil have been great partners. A lot of people say that partnerships don't work out but, see we have made that possible."

Zayed reiterates that while making the film, he as well as his partners never lost focus on what really made practical sense. Though there has been a good amount spent on lending it a classy feel, Zayed says that there was accountability at every juncture.

"We have kept it all straight to the lines," says Zayed, "We had our eye focus on the ball and first ensured that the right systems were set. Ultimately the end goal was to enjoy making this film. See, when you are shooting for your own film, despite being a producer you end up playing many roles as the child in you wants a lot more. You want to be the director, the soundman, the spot-boy - just about everything. Guess we all ended up playing different roles at different points in time and made the film happen."

Also starring Cyrus Sahukar, Tisca Chopra, Satyadeep Mishra, Vaibhav Talwar, Auritra Ghosh and Umang in principal roles, LOVE BREAKUPS ZINDAGI releases all over this Dussehra on 7th October.
