Ekta Kapoor gets a makeover

Ekta Kapoor, the tough taskmaster is all set with her new release THE DIRTY PICTURE with some seasoned performers. While Vidya balan look in the movie which has been inspired by Silk Smitha's life has already created a stir in the industry, Ekta has also managed to get a stylized look for the promotion of her film. The movie promos are generating a lot of curiosity, we see Ms. Kapoor looking uber chic at most of the promotions.

The lady in question, who once had a poor dressing sense and preferred her work to speak for itself, is looking super cute in her designer wear. Apparently, she is fussing over going the extra mile or the designer route by wearing Malani Raman dresses, a modish haircut, subdued make up to highlight her features and well coordinated block heels is definitely doing the trick. It might be a rare coincidence that her find Prachi Desai who is quite a celeb in her own rights now, also underwent a huge makeover. We get to see Prachi on a number of magazine covers, endorsing numerous lifestyle brands, perhaps capitalizing on the new found fashion status.

Taking a cue from well-styled Sonam kapoor, Deepika padukone and Anushka Sharma perhaps, Prachi is looking her feminine best in designer garb, while on the other hand her mentor Ekta has seriously taken into consideration that looks do matter!

A source from the industry says, 'Her industry friends - Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, SRK and the rest of the producers-actors have been an inspiration of sorts for the 'Queen' to get serious about her demeanor and PR skills. All of these industry people have become ultra conscious of their looks, their interviews and public appearance is being taken care of tremendously. It's the age of packaging and looks perhaps.'
