Aamir Khan to do an Akki in 2013!

Akshay Kumar a.k.a Akki is the most prolific among all the Bollywood stars and has been subjecting the film and TV audiences to an overdose of his films, TV programmes, and himself for years. 2012 may see the release of five major films with Akki in the lead, starting with the just released HOUSEFULL 2 followed by ROWDY RATHORE, URMUI, ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI - 2, KHILADI 786, and SPECIAL CHABBIS. The release schedule of this line up may spill over in 2013.

Going by the readily available information, Aamir Khan is also set to emerge as one of the most prolific film and TV stars with two of his films Yashraj's DHOOM 3, and Rajkumar Hirani's PEEKAY rolling out in 2013. Reema Kagti's TALAASH may also be released in the same year since its November 2012 release date remains unconfirmed and Aamir's availability for its promotion is under a cloud of doubt because of the confirmed shooting schedule of the other two films on his roster.

While TALAASH is ready for release, DHOOM 3 and PEEKAY are yet to be shot. In case his TV talk show 'Satyamev Jayate' gets popular, the thinking star will also come under pressure to produce more shows for its next season and unlike Films, TV schedules cannot be altered or adjusted at will. For a change the film as well as TV audiences can expect to have quite an overdose of Aamir Khan in 2013. If it will be healthy for Aamir or his fans is the moot question.
