Veteran Bollywood actor-producer Jeetendra turned a year older today. Jeetendra, who is also known as Jumping Jack, was born in Amritsar, Punjab in April 7, 1942, to Amarnath and Krishna Kapoor.

Jitendra has contributed a lot to the Hindi film industry and that earned him Zee Cine Lifetime Achievement Award 2012, for working over 50 years in Bollywood.

The actor tasted success in myriad Hindi movies that include MERI AWAZ SUNO, KINARA, KHUSHBOO, TAMACHA, KATHPUTLI and EK NARI EK BRAHMACHARI to name a few.
