Saif moves on, to start a love story with Saket

It is back to lights, camera and action for Saif Ali Khan. Not quite sitting back and pondering over the response to AGENT VINOD, he has moved on and green lighting projects that were waiting to catch his attention for quite some time now. One such film is a love story which would be directed by Saket Chaudhary of PYAAR KE SIDE EFFECTS fame.

"Saif has given a go ahead to Saket and they would start filming soon. The film's script is pretty much sealed and locked. It is going to be a love story with elements of humour thrown in as well. Saket is raring to go and most likely the film would go on floors this year itself," informs our well placed source.

One can well visualize Saket heaving a huge sigh of relief because after PYAAR KE SIDE EFFECTS (Rahul Bose, Mallika Sherawat), which was a critical as well as commercial success, one would have expected his career to sky rocket. However there was a huge waiting period and even though Saif had signed him up for his production house one and a half years ago, there were some tentative times for the director as there was no further announcement around it actually getting kick-started.

"Well, Saif was busy with AGENT VINOD and the only other film that he was actively involved in was his home production COCKTAIL (with Deepika Padukone) which has just been wrapped up. Now he is actively involved in his fresh bunch of films and Saket's film is going to be next in the list," the source continues.

One looks forward to how Saif plans to accommodate the film in his date diary, what with RACE 2 still being on, JUDWAA 2in the pipeline, a dramatic thriller with Anurag Basu on the anvil and another film being already finalised where he would be enacting the part of a Bhopali detective.
