Anil Kapoor: I am no longer young

Director Priyadarshan had presented Anil Kapoor in a very different role in 1997's VIRASAT where he performed a lot of action scenes. Almost fifteen years later Anil will once again be seen performing high octane action in Priyadarshan's TEZZ.

This is not the first time that the actor has been made to do such action, but the actor says it took him almost fifteen years to say yes to Priyadarshan, "The film is titled TEZZ but for me to agree to do a film is never fast. I have my own way of doing a film. Priyadarshan had promised me that he would not let me down and it was an ambitious project and I said yes to him."

The actor adds further, "As said, he has fulfilled his promise. I think this is his best film till date."

Anil Kapoor hopes that the magic that they both created in VIRASAT will be recreated in this film too. He says, "TEZZ is fast and gripping and will take Indian thrillers to a new level. We had a lot economic constraints but we have tried to create an impactful movie."

However Anil Kapoor will be seen doing a lot of action along with the younger actors Ajay Devgn and Zayed Khan, "I have achieved the peak of physical fitness for this film. I realize am no longer ten or fifteen year old but I have tried to change with time and do the best in this kind of situation. I have tried what suits me better and at times when I could not do the scenes I used a body double. But every scene has been shot in a realistic way," says Anil Kapoor.
