Aamir attends wedding of rickshaw driver's son

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan attended the wedding of an auto-rickshaw driver's son in Varanasi late Wednesday night.

The 47-year-old actor said he had promised Ramlakhan Paswan (auto-rickshaw driver) during the promotion of 3 IDIOTS that he will attend his son Rajiv's wedding in 2012.

Dressed in blue denim and white shirt, Aamir reached Chaurasiya marriage hall at Mehmurganj post midnight and congratulated Rajiv and his bride Vijayta.

"This is the wedding of my friend Ramlakhan Paswan's son. I have not come here to promote any upcoming serial or movie. I am here to attend the ceremony," Aamir told reporters.

"I met Ram Lakhan during the promotion of 3 IDIOTS and he came to my house to invite me for the wedding one year ago. I wish the bride and groom the very best. Especially the bride, who may find happiness," he said.

Aamir is currently busy with the final episodes of his TV show 'Satyamev Jayate'. He will start shooting for DHOOM 3 after that.
