Anil Kapoor: TEZZ is not a mere action thriller

It is a well-known fact in the industry that for Anil Kapoor to sign a movie, it is nothing short of an event itself. After all, the actor has been quite selective over last so many years due to which TEZZ is coming across as something special.

"You can say that," smiles the veteran actor, "See, TEZZ is not a mere action thriller. In India if you just do an action thriller without much emotion, it won't work. It is very important to have that emotional quotient in place and that is the strength of TEZZ as well. Along with action and thrills, audience will certainly connect to the emotional turmoil that the characters are going through."

The promos give an impression though that there is quite some enormity of action in motion here. Is it just the tip of the iceberg that we see in promos or there is more in the offering?

"To be honest with you, anyone who is attached to the film would by default be very biased towards the film. Still, I can confidently say that yes, whatever you say is just the ice of the iceberg. There is a lot more in the film than what you actually see in the promos," quips Kapoor before signing off.

Touted to be an intense cat and mouse thriller, TEZZ has Ajay Devgn as the central protagonist along with Anil Kapoor and also stars Mohanlal, Kangana Ranaut and Zayed Khan in principle roles. With music by Sajid-Wajid, the film releases all over tomorrow.
