Kunal: See a fully entertaining and massy Emraan in JANNAT 2

JANNAT 2 is all set to release and yet again, Bhatts have at their disposal Emraan Hashmi who is just the perfect candidate to step into the enterprise and justify the film's theme. Since the man has been doing quite well for himself, especially when it comes to playing street-smart characters, it can well be expected that there were no second thoughts about him being roped in for the second installment of the franchise.

"Definitely," says Kunal without blinking an eyelid, "Also, you would really see a fully entertaining and massy Emraan here; the kind who is a hero in larger than life situations. We didn't do that though in TUM MILEY since it was a different kind of a story and Emraan had to play a regular guy. In JANNAT he was set up in a different way and now in JANNAT 2 you would see his entire characterisation in an altogether different way. There is a lot of dialogue-baazi and some over the top romance which would keep the narrative massively entertaining."

One hopes that Kunal too got it all right when it came to conceptualising, executing and now releasing JANNAT 2. Though on its release, JANNAT was the biggest film ever for Emraan, today the actor is sitting pretty on double bill of MURDER 2 and THE DIRTY PICTURE. Doesn't it turn out to be all the more reason for Kunal to keenly await audience reactions to the film? After all, presence of a superstar in a film can get overwhelming at times.
Laughs Kunal, "Arrey nahi, I just look at the story I wish to tell and how best I can do the job. Beyond that I don't take myself too seriously. As long as people would be happy with that, I would be proud of my work."

With Esha Gupta as the debutant leading lady and Randeep Hooda in a crucial role, JANNAT 2 releases all over this Friday.
