Vivek Oberoi starrer JAYANTABHAI to bring back the umbrellas in vogue!

There was a time when no film was complete without a rain song and dance, and most patrons of memorable vintage Bollywood films will always have fond memories of the same, and one of the many important props was an umbrella.

Amongst the top few songs that come to mind are, 'Pyaar Hua Iqraar Hua' (SHREE 420), 'Na Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai' (CHAALBAAZ) etc.

Umbrellas were also used in important action sequences and one just cannot forget the edge-of-the-seat action climax of Rahul Rawail's super hit, ARJUN, featuring the one and only Sunny Deol, where hundreds of black umbrellas formed the backdrop of the tense action drama.

Umbrellas did take a backseat during the last decade or so, but here's the good news for all those who pine for the vintage umbrella song and dance and also action sequences. We have news that the humble umbrella is all set to make a resounding comeback via Tips' upcoming JAYANTA BHAI KI LUV STORY.

The lead actor of JBKLS, Vivek Oberoi has revealed that umbrellas form an important part of the proceedings and have been widely used in the film. This was also evident from the first look of the film itself that was unveiled sometime back with the lead pair, Vivek Oberoi and Neha Sharma, standing happily amidst a host of fancy yellow umbrellas.

Well, with 'masala' back with a bang one was quite sure that even the umbrellas would be back in vogue pretty soon, and with JAYANTABHAI KI LUV STORY things are right on track!
