Is Shreyas Talpade turning Khan siblings' 'ghar ka hero'?

Shreyas Talpade can be heard appreciating his JOKER co-star Akshay Kumar, understandably so since the much senior actor comes with couple of decades of working experience. One wonders whether he has pretty much become a 'ghar ka hero' in Khan sibling household. While Sajid Khan roped him in for HOUSEFULL 2, sister Farah Khan first offered him OM SHANTI OM and now her hubby Shirish Kunder has chosen him for JOKER.

''Well, we are forming a good team for sure,'' says Shirish, ''Though I had interacted with Farah before and had an idea of how Sajid would be, courtesy the films and television he has done in the past, I had to spend some time understanding Shirish's way of working and also the person that he is. After spending over a year with him, I now realise that he is very witty though he conveys that in his own subtle and flat manner.''

Apparently the director and the actor formed good camaraderie over the period of time, so much so that Shirish never missed an opportunity to pull Shirish's leg at any given instance.

''He has a habit of doing that time and again,'' laughs Shirish, ''I had started getting a glimpse of something like that when we had first met and he narrated the film to me. Later during the making also I realised that. Whenever there was a difficult scene to be done, he would come to me and say that 'tu bata de yaar, tujhse ho paayega ya nahi kyonki ye kaafi difficult hai'. I knew this was his way of motivating me but I too used to have fun. I told him that perhaps he knew I had a film like IQBAL to my credit and doing difficult parts didn't scare me.''

One hopes the effort does show when the film hits the screens on 31st August all over.
