Prabhudheva is Bollywood's busiest item boy!

Prabhudheva is finding himself in a peculiar situation. Pretty much perceived as an outsider as far as Bollywood is concerned, he found his way up the ladder with consecutive successes like WANTED and ROWDY RATHORE. While that was in the capacity of a director, he is now ready to make a splash with an item song each in two Hindi films. What makes it special is the fact that both these films release on the same day and making him the busiest item boy in town.

"Yes, this is indeed a double whammy for Prabhudheva, something which he didn't really see coming. He has a dance number each in OMG OH MY GOD! as well as ABCD - ANYBODY CAN DANCE. Now both films are planned for 28th September release. Suddenly, you would now see a lot of Prabhudheva on TV, perhaps much more than any other item girl," informs a source.

For someone who became a rage across the country with his songs like 'Mukkala Muqabla' and 'Urvashi' a decade and a half ago, Prabhudheva has indeed come a long way. However his songs filling up theatres across the country on the same day isn't something that even he would have bargained for.

"More than anything else, there is a lot of variety also in both the songs. In OMG - OH MY GOD, he is dancing to 'Govinda' with Sonakshi Sinha. On the other hand ABCD - ANY BODY CAN DANCE would feature him in a much more contemporary avatar. Since by genre itself it is a dance film, expect Prabhudheva to go all fast and furious."

Well, with two songs on the same day, he is being rather way too fast already. One wonders if he would be a trail blazer in starting the trend of item boys on Indian film circuit now.
