Bollywood box-office report of the week

Checking out the new releases of last week, and predictably it was just Pooja Bhatt's Sunny Leone starrer, JISM 2, which saw a good performance, but it lasted only till the first day! The film started falling from the second day itself and after a nominal pick up on Sunday crashed from Monday onwards. Having said that the film will fare very much like FERRARI KI SAWAARI, that is profitable for the makers but a loss making venture for the distributors. JISM 2 has also disappointed in the overseas grossing £14,000 from UK and $ 26,500 from the US during the opening weekend (3-5 August).

The other releases of the week, YEH JO MOHABBAT HAI and the animated KRISHNA AUR KANS failed to make any mark at the ticket window.
