Salman Khan is the lone TIGER in Bollywood star jungle, says Kabir Khan

That is how the feelings of the director of EK THA TIGER, Kabir Khan towards Salman Khan can be best described. If Bollywood is a jungle, Salman is its reigning tiger. That's why Kabir could not think of anyone else but him to play the lead role in his film. The writer-director of films like KABUL EXPRESS and NEW YORK keeps the persona of his stars in mind while developing his script. EK THA TIGER was custom-built for Salman according to him.

Contrary to the stories doing the rounds about the moodiness of the star, Kabir's experience has been very positive about working with Salman whose films have been setting new benchmarks of box office success since his reinvention as an action hero in WANTED. Kabir says that Salman did not interfere with the making of EK THA TIGER but was an active collaborator in its development like so many others such as the film's producers and even direction assistants. Kabir welcomes such collaboration from his unit. He likes taking inputs from everyone since it brings in interesting perspectives that he may have missed while developing scripts of his films.
