Salman & Katrina share almost equal space in EK THA TIGER

Irrespective of the publicity and promotion of EK THA TIGER solely centered on Salman Khan, it's not that Katrina Kaif's role is less important in the film.

It runs parallel to Salman's role and if the film's posters and trailers don't show much of her, it's done for strategic reasons according to Kabir Khan, the director of the film. Katrina's role is a kind of a surprise package. Kabir says that Katrina has grown as an actress over the years and her work in EK THA TIGER is probably her best so far.

This is her second film with Kabir Khan. Her first film with him was NEW YORK that got her an entry into the Yash Raj camp, a dream of any aspirant. Since then she has become the most preferred choice of the banner, which has given her the opportunity to play the lead opposite Shahrukh Khan for the first time in an untitled film helmed by Yash Chopra himself.
