Nawazuddin: I spent 10-15 days in Wasseypur for GANGS!

One of the brightest talents of recent times is master actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui. His acts in KAHAANI and more recently, GANGS OF WASSEYPUR 2, have not only met with loads of critical acclaim but have also taken his popularity to dizzying heights.

When we asked Nawaz how it feels at this stage which is the best phase of his career, he told us, "It feels great. You know I have struggled for 10-12 years, so the success at this stage is all the more sweet."

Moving on, we asked him what his inspiration was for his splendid act of Faizal Khan in GANGS OF WASSEYPUR II and he said, "I had spent around 10-15 days at Wasseypur and studied the mannerisms of the locals. After that Anurag Kashyap had conducted an acting workshop also. So it did help in enhancing my performance."

With Suparn's AATMA and a host of other upcoming films, Nawazuddin is here to stay for a long time!
