Salman Khan roots for KJo's 'Student' Varun Dhawan!

Salman has always supported fresh talent; he has and groomed and guided many debutants with his eye for talent. In a recent interview, Salman said that according to him the next big kid on the block is ace comedy director David Dhawan's son, Varun Dhawan.

Salman Khan also mentioned that the promo of Varun's debut film STUDENT OF THE YEAR looks refreshing and that all the three leads including Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt are promising faces. Salman watched the promo of the film and loved the energy of the high spirited youngsters. He has been enthusiastically recommending the promo of the film as a 'must watch' for everyone.

Varun Dhawan, who marks his debut with Karan Johar's STUDENT OF THE YEAR seems to be a lucky man with Salman Khan praising him. With mentors like Salman Khan and Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan seems to be the next 'Big Thing' in Bollywood.

Produced by Shahrukh Khan's Red Chilies Entertainment and Dharma Productions and directed by Karan Johar himself, STUDENT OF THE YEAR is slated to release on the 19th of October, 2012.
