Karan Johar wraps STUDENT OF THE YEAR shoot; releases 'The Disco Song' Teaser

The team of STUDENT OF THE YEAR (SOTY) is all smiles as they wrapped up the shoot today. Director Karan Johar has been enthusiastically promoting the film and giving out details about the film and cast every now & then.

Karan Johar tweeted, ''On my way to shoot the last day of #studentoftheyear!!!! Sidharth, Varun and Alia end one phase and start another today....''

The film marks the debut of Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan; who are all set for their big release on the 19th of October. Directed by Karan Johar, STUDENT OF THE YEAR is undoubtedly one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year.

Dharma Productions has also released the teaser of the first song from the film, 'The Disco Song'. The teaser shows a glimpse of all the three youngsters grooving to the disco track.

Alia Bhatt, the female lead of the film happens to be the daughter of ace filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt while Varun Dhawan is King of comedy David Dhawan's son. Sidharth Malhotra was a well-known model before making his big debut in films. Karan Johar has groomed all three youngsters for their big break.
