Ankita Shorey - the new face of Indian Bridal Week

Ankita Shorey, Femina Miss International 2011 and Bollywood actress, is the new brand ambassador of Indian Bridal Week as announced in a recently held press conference at the capital. Till last year, the endorser was Kangana Ranaut. Sonakshi Sinha, who was also present at the conference, will be seen walking for the fashion show finale.

There were several talks about the face of the bridal week, and a few top actresses were considered for the same, but Ankita is the one to grab the meat. When contacted Mr. Vijay Singh, CEO of Indian Bridal Week, he was in all praises for Ankita. He said, ''Ankita is extremely beautiful and fits our brand like a glove. A combination of beauty and style, from her good looks and the way she carries herself with the right attitude, by every mean she fits to be our Brand Ambassador.''

When we asked Ankita about the new association, this is what she had to say: ''I am extremely honoured to be signed up as the Brand Ambassador, and I take a lot of pride to be associated with Indian Bridal Week. I would like to thank the entire team at IBW for considering me to be the face.''

The top designers who will be participating at the Indian Bridal Week are JJ Valaya, Shantanu and Nikhil, Ashima Leena, Meera Muzaffar Ali, Anjali Arjun Kapoor, Mandira Virk, Pallavi Jaikishan, Narendra Ahmed, Vikram Phadnis, Rocky S, Jyotsna Tiwari.
