Akshay Kumar: My wife is over the moon

Akshay Kumar is seeing a mighty eventful year for him. Reason being that two of his films entered the 100 crore club (HOUSEFULL 2, ROWDY RATHORE) and his production (OMG OH MY GOD!) with Paresh Rawal as the central protagonist found good critical acclaim and commercial success with collections over 82 crores.

While one can pretty much sense KHILADI 786 to be a good success amongst the audience as well, Akshay is pretty much content in his personal life as well, what with his family being complete with the arrival of a baby girl, Nitara. So how is it for Akshay to be taking care of a newborn all over again after 10 years?

'Surprisingly easier', chuckles Akshay, 'I seem to have remembered all the little techniques that make a baby go gaga when I enter the room. So far everything has just been so smooth. My wife is over the moon and in her elements right now. A baby girl is exactly what our home needed.'

Meanwhile his bonding with son Aarav is only strengthening further.

'Now me and my son are going to stick together to fight for male pride in the house. Or least fight for our Sunday cricket matches and that's about it. The rest of the time we are more than happy to live for all the women in our family,'' smiles Akshay before signing off.
