Bollywood box-office report of the week

Last week saw the release of Excel Entertainment's 45 crore (all inclusive cost, minus Aamir's remuneration) Reema Kagti directed Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji, Kareena Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer, TALAASH - THE ANSWER LIES WITHIN. After a mixed (great to fair) first day, the film picked up beautifully (especially on Sunday) during the weekend, netting 44-45 crore (to be validated). The film has also done good business (bumper in US) in the overseas grossing £386,500 from UK and $1,638,750 from the US, during the opening weekend (November 30 - December 2).
