INKAAR turned out really intense for Chitrangada

It has been a year long wait for Chitrangada Singh ever since her DESI BOYZ hit the screens. However, the dusky beauty is now looking at some exciting times ahead with INKAAR. The Sudhir Mishra directed film is all set to showcase the (much awaited) intense side of hers where she would be taking on Arjun Rampal heads-on.

"Yes, this has turned out to be a really intense film for her since it deals with sexual harassment at workplace,'' says a close associate of the actress, "If Chitrangada's characterisation itself is quite tough to begin with, what makes it further challenging is the fact that Sudhir Mishra doesn't settle for anything less than excellent. It is anyways so tough to be working with him since he is quite a taskmaster. Add to that a subject like this and you know he would be driving you really hard. Of course when you see the end results, they turn out to be immensely satisfying."

While earlier there were rumours around the film being titled POWER PLAY, the final title is INKAAR and it promises to bring sexual harassment out of the closet and that too in a mainstream film.

Says an insider, "The film features Arjun Rampal as a corporate bigwig who mentors a newbie (Chitrangada), only to sexually harass her. Thoroughly disgusted by this behaviour, she takes matters to the higher authorities and charges him in the case of harassment."

Going by the poster though, it appears as if Chitrangada too is party to the entire episode. Now who says INKAAR to who is the question that would be answered once the film releases all over on 18th January.
