Pritam wins Best Music Award for BARFI! at Asia Pacific Film Festival

Music composer Pritam has won the Best Music Award for BARFI! at the prestigious Asia Pacific Film Festival held in Macau. He went to Macau on the 15th December to receive the award. Pritam was the only Indian musician to be nominated at the award ceremony that was held during the course of the festival.

Producer, director Anubhav Sinha was one of the jury members at the Festival. Films like GANGS OF WASSEYPUR had four nominations and KAHAANI had one nomination.

Pritam has won various awards for his music in films like ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI, LOVE AAJ KAL and AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI.

The Asia Pacific Film Festival is an event hosted annually in different Asian Cities, and this year the festival was held in Macau and is supported by the local government. The Asia Pacific Film Festival, first held in 1954, is film festival held annually in an Asian country designated by the Board of Directors of the Federation of Motion Picture Producers in Asia-Pacific.
