Big 2013 for John Abraham with RACE 2 & SHOOTOUT AT WADALA

The countdown has begun. RACE as a franchise, especially with Abbas-Mustan calling the shots, is expected to be one twisted tale with elements of suspense and intrigue hitting the audience every 15 minutes. Well, audience perception is not really misplaced here as the film's lead John Abraham too reaffirms the same.

'Yes, RACE 2 is a quintessential whodunit thriller by Abbas-Mustan. Audience that enjoyed RACE will love RACE 2 as well; that's something that I can guarantee,'' John assures.

Meanwhile 2013 is expected to be John's biggest ever till date. While RACE 2 is starting the year for him, he has his most ambitious film till date, SHOOTOUT AT WADALA, creating some fantastic pre-release buzz as well.

'Absolutely', John perks up here, 'This is being planned as a film which is bigger and better than the best. Sanjay (Gupta), Ekta (Kapoor) and I are on a wicket where we understand what SHOOTOUT AT WADALA is going to do for us. We need to up the quotient now. I am again looking at an action zone here and what I can promise is that over and above the drama and thrills, you would see some real action unfolding on screen.'

While RACE 2 releases on 26th January next year, SHOOTOUT AT WADALA is all set to hit the screens on 1st May 2013.
