After a mixed opening day Ashish R. Mohan's Akshay-Asin starrer KHILADI 786 saw a growth on each subsequent day of the weekend, with the weekdays being quite steady. During the week KHILADI 786 collected 4 crore from Bombay (collections from other cinemas unreceived), 2.25 crore from Ahmedabad, 54 lakhs from Surat, 47.55 lakhs from Baroda (collections from 7 cinemas unreceived), 64.20 lakhs from Rajkot, 45 lakhs from Pune, 23.50 lakhs from Nasik, 3.50 crore from Delhi city, 47.50 lakhs from Noida, 50 lakhs from Ghaziabad, 40 lakhs from Kanpur, 62.35 lakhs from Lucknow, 22.65 lakhs from Agra, 11.75 lakhs from Allahabad, 28.15 lakhs from Meerut, 7.25 lakhs from Aligarh, 50 lakhs from Gurgaon, 11.65 lakhs from Faridabad, 8.65 lakhs from Panipat, 16 lakhs from Chandigarh, 18 lakhs from Jalandhar, 5 lakhs from Amritsar, 7 lakhs from Ludhiana, 6 lakhs from Bhatinda, 4.25 lakhs from Ambala, 5.15 lakhs from Jammu, 80 lakhs from Calcutta, 1.25 lakhs from Darjeeling, 9 lakhs from Siliguri, 5.35 lakhs from Dhanbad, 3.25 lakhs from Ranchi, 5 lakhs from Guwahati, 46 lakhs from Nagpur, 35 lakhs from Raipur, 70 lakhs from Indore (collections from 4 cinemas unreceived), 20.55 lakhs from Bhopal (collections from 5 cinemas unreceived), 1.75 crore from Jaipur, 7.55 lakhs from Jodhpur (collections from 6 cinemas unreceived), 23.50 lakhs from Ajmer, 13.20 lakhs from Bikaner, 35 lakhs from Kota, 1 crore from Hyderabad, 16.25 lakhs from Aurangabad (collections from 5 cinemas unreceived), 45 lakhs from Bangalore, 2.35 lakhs from Vijayawada, 3.75 lakhs from Visakhapatnam, 4.25 lakhs from Madras and 1.50 lakhs from Kochi. Netting a fair 47.50 crore during the opening week from India, KHILADI 786 is all set to be at least an above average fare.
The Akshay-Asin starrer though has disappointed in the overseas grossing £192,000 from UK and $352,700 from the US till the second weekend (14-16 December).
