Rishi Kapoor to play Sonam Kapoor's dad in Yash Raj Films' next

Yash Raj Films has signed Rishi Kapoor to play the role of Sonam Kapoor's father in its untitled film starring Sonam Kapoor and Ayushman Khurrana, directed by Nupur Asthana

Habib Faisal who is the writer of this film and director of DO DOONI CHAAR was very keen to cast Rishi Kapoor once again.

Sonam Kapoor and Ayushman Khurana will be seen sharing screen space for the first time.

This film will be shot in Delhi showing a romantic comedy of two young people falling in love with each other and Mayera's wilful bureaucrat father, V.K. Sehgal (Rishi Kapoor), gets angry. There is too many love tests which both Ayushman and Sonam has to go around.

The film is a slice of life and is expected to go on floor in February and is slated for a 2013 release.
