Rekha's return to celluloid as Super Nani

Bollywood's original diva Rekha is making her come back in a film based on women empowerment, and in a search of respect as the senior citizen of the family. The film is named as SUPER NANI directed by Indra Kumar. Rekha will be seen essaying an author backed character of super granny opposite Sharman Joshi who will playing her loving grandson

A divine pooja was conducted on the auspicious and once in a lifetime date of 12.12.12, at the special time of 12 noon for SUPER NANI, a family entertainer from the prestigious banner of Indra Kumar & Ashok Thakeria's Maruti International.

Dressed in an elegant off white sari Rekha offered her prayers to the almighty along with Randhir Kapoor, Sharman Joshi and Shweta Kumar.

Ashok Thakeria says about the film, ''SUPER NANI is a complete family entertainer which will touch you, heal you and leave you feeling good. It is all about respect and women power.''

Indra Kumar directs Rekha for the first time after having worked with the best talents in the film industry right from actors like Anil Kapoor and Aamir Khan in the past many years.

Indra Kumar says, ''When I narrated the script to Rekhaji, she said Eureka! and agreed. It was a magical moment for me. She knew that the script was right for her.''

Fans of eternal diva Rekha will have a special treat in store for them as the stunningly talented actress will be soon seen on the silver screen!
