Emraan-Abhay's SHANGHAI to release on 8th June

PVR Pictures' Emraan Hashmi and Abhay Deol starrer SHANGHAI is all set to release on June 8, 2012. The film is directed by Dibakar Banejee and also stars Kalki Koechlin and Prosenjit Chatterjee in prominent roles.

The movie is based on the life of politicians and their greed and has been inspired from Costa Gavras directed movie Z, released in 1969. SHANGHAI portrays the present political scenario and how common man gets his revenge back.

Dibakar is thrilled at the way SHANGHAI has shaped up. "Frankly I have been stunned by the performances from our stars and our character artistes. I can safely say that all preconceived notions that people have about both Abhay and Emraan are going to be shattered by this movie," avers Dibakar.
