Vivek follows Salman's path!

Way back in 1998, Salman Khan gave the big break to music composers Sajid-Wajid in PYAAR KIYA TO DARNA KYA. Fourteen years later, the composer duo's nephews Amjad-Nadeem are set to make a beginning in Bollywood with the Vivek Oberoi starrer ZILLA GHAZIABAD and KISMAT LUV PAISA DILLI (KLPD).

Apparently, Vivek went out of his way to recommend the duo to the producers of the films. Alongside Amjad-Nadeem, Shabbir Ahmed has also been roped in as the lyricist. "Vivek was very impressed when he heard Amjad-Nadeem's songs. He asked them to compose a few more songs and when he heard those as well, he decided to help them bag their first project," says a source close to the actor. Interestingly, Amjad and Nadeem are expected to compose music for Vivek's upcoming films too.

Vivek who at present is shooting for KLPD confirms, "Yes, Amjad and Nadeem are composing music for KLPD and ZILLA GHAZIABAD. They are really very talented boys. If I have the means to promote new talents then why shouldn't I?"
Apparently Sajid and Wajid are grateful to Vivek for giving their nephews the big break into industry. "They met Vivek at a party few days ago and were thanking him for giving Amjad-Nadeem a break," says a source.
However, Vivek reveals that he isn't just rooting for Amjad-Nadeem but has been trying to promote other musicians as well. Says the actor, "They come to me, I listen to their work and if I like the songs I keep them in my Vivek Oberoi song bank. Whenever I feel a film has situations for such songs I give it to the makers. I have given Amit Chandrra (producer of KLPD) a few songs as well."
