Prateik: I don't know being Smita Patil's son is an advantage...

We all know about late Bollywood actress Smita Patil's stature and her body of work. Considering this fact, it is quite natural on filmmakers' part to have certain expectations from her son Prateik, who like his mother has stepped in Bollywood to make it big. However, Prateik neither considers it as an advantage nor feels pressurized to deliver.

Prateik makes no bones about what he feels and thinks. ''May be the filmmakers expect from me but I don't know if it is an advantage of being Smita Patil's son. I don't know whether there's pressure on me. I mean whether I was her son or not, I would have still given my best,'' says the reticent actor.

Where many star sons or daughters bank on their parents' name, it seems Prateik is set to create his own mark in the industry.
