Raima: Tagore project, a never before endeavour!

There was a great news recently about the highly acclaimed director, Rituparno Ghosh, all set to direct a docu-drama on the legendary Rabindranath Tagore. To get the facts we decided to contact the star of the film, Raima Sen.

The sensational Bong beauty told us, "Having worked with Rituparno in CHOKHER BALI and NAUKA DUBI, it was great to hear from him about the project, and it will surely be a first of its kind endeavour."

Elaborating on 'the first of its kind' Raima went on, "It's not your usual documentary or docu-drama . It will be a musical based on Guru Rabindranath Tagore's works and additionally Rituparno has done extensive research on the subject for 2-3 years. It is not a dull and drab documentary. Why I say 'first of its kind' is because no one has done something like this before."
