Irrfan Khan impresses PAAN SINGH TOMAR director Tigmanshu

After making acclaimed films like HAASIL and CHARAS with Irrfan Khan, filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia has once again paired with the actor in PAAN SINGH TOMAR. According to the filmmaker, the idea of this film was with him for years but he never found a producer who had the vision to see the punch in the narrative which finally UTV did.

Tigmanshu says, 'This film is special to me in many ways. We have taken a lot of pain to make such a hard hitting story. It is not one of the ordinary films that are shot in air conditioned halls but a film that is made with a lot of sweat and hard work.'

Talking about his association with actor Irrfan Khan in the film, the filmmaker adds, 'A lot of people used to ask me when I would make a film with Irrfan again after they got the taste of HAASIL and CHARAS. Now, I can finally tell them what I have for them. The best part about working with him is that Irrfan is an actor who gives more than his time while shooting. PAN SINGH TOMAR required that kind of intensity which only an actor like Irrfan is known for.'

PAAN SINGH TOMAR which is based on a true story is all set to release in the first week of March.
