LONDON PARIS NEW YORK has turned out to be a pleasant surprise for those who were hooked on to the internet over the weekend. The video started getting viral within hours of it going online and is seeing generally good feedback coming its way due to a fresh treatment and youthful flavour.
''The promo has thrown a pleasant surprise primarily due to an untried 'jodi' of Aditi Rao Hydari and Ali Zafar,' says an insider, 'Somehow Aditi was being slotted in slightly elderly roles ever since she played Sonam Kapoor's 'bua' (aunt) in DELHI 6. Then in YEH SAALI ZINDAGI too she played a mother to a grown up son. However looking at LONDON PARIS NEW YORK, it is crystal clear that the days of playing someone far older than her real age would pretty much be a story of the past for Aditi.''
A romcom about a young couple which chronicles their lives as they spend time in three of the most beautiful cities in the world - London, Paris and New York - the film presents Aditi in a quintessential leading lady avatar while Ali Zafar (of TERE BIN LADEN fame) too goes solo once again after playing second lead to Imran Khan in MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN.
