Ali Zafar's LONDON PARIS NEW YORK creates a stir

LONDON PARIS NEW YORK has turned out to be a pleasant surprise for those who were hooked on to the internet over the weekend. The video started getting viral within hours of it going online and is seeing generally good feedback coming its way due to a fresh treatment and youthful flavour.

''The promo has thrown a pleasant surprise primarily due to an untried 'jodi' of Aditi Rao Hydari and Ali Zafar,' says an insider, 'Somehow Aditi was being slotted in slightly elderly roles ever since she played Sonam Kapoor's 'bua' (aunt) in DELHI 6. Then in YEH SAALI ZINDAGI too she played a mother to a grown up son. However looking at LONDON PARIS NEW YORK, it is crystal clear that the days of playing someone far older than her real age would pretty much be a story of the past for Aditi.''

A romcom about a young couple which chronicles their lives as they spend time in three of the most beautiful cities in the world - London, Paris and New York - the film presents Aditi in a quintessential leading lady avatar while Ali Zafar (of TERE BIN LADEN fame) too goes solo once again after playing second lead to Imran Khan in MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN.

''Ali Zafar's confidence was palpable in MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN as well as TERE BIN LADEN so it is hardly a surprise to see him being so sure about his presence in the film. He is definitely at ease. She was terribly short-changed in ROCKSTAR but now could well leave her disappointments behind and savior the acknowledgment and appreciation coming her way with LONDON PARIS NEW YORK,'' adds a source.

Noticed for its classy appeal as well as an inherent humour, LONDON PARIS NEW YORK marks the debut of Anu Menon as a director and releases all over on 2nd March.
