Mahakshay: Awards are prestigious!

As you read this, Mahakshay Chakraborty is already in the casino city of Macau to attend his first award function, 'The Zee Cine' Awards. And just before Mahakshay left for Macau we caught up with him and he disclosed, 'No, I have been invited to the awards before. But this is the first time that I am attending. The reason is the good relation that my dad (Mithun) shares with the Zee people.'

Since it's the award season, and the usual quota of controversies like, ''Who should have won'', or a more sensational, ''Who bought it' being the flavour of the season, the tabloids are having a field day!

When we queried Mahakshay about the authenticity of the awards and a few stars not believing in it, he clarified, ''Yes, I do believe in awards and I find them prestigious, and the people who get the awards deserve it. As for some not believing in the awards, it is their personal belief and they have a right to it, and we cannot question them.''

Well, Mahakshay may not have been nominated for his much appreciated act in the super hit HAUNTED but we are sure that he will soon make it seeing his impressive line up.
