"Riteish was very excited about the song from the beginning. He spontaneously decided that Maharashtra be a part of the new song," says an insider from the film's unit. To ensure the authenticity of the track, Riteish turned singer and lyricist for the Marathi portions in the track and sat with the composers Meet Brothers Anjjan to understand the meter and rhythm of the track. As a result, the original song from SHOOL (1999) has been reworked quite a bit.
