Why is Salman not reacting on EK THA TIGER ban in Pakistan?

There is a lot of brouhaha around Pakistan banning promos of EK THA TIGER but someone who is keeping quiet is the man of the moment - Salman Khan himself. While one wonders about the reason behind his silence, the fact is that last few weeks have been rather hard on him. Reason being that the whole episode around the car accident as well as the Sarabjit Singh saga has brought him in news for reasons other than EK THA TIGER.

"He couldn't take it lying down when media started questioning all three Khan brothers for the unfortunate road accident in which an aged homeless woman was killed. Though Salman did manage to mince some words and came up with uncharacteristic politically correct statements, one could witness his angst. At the time when EK THA TIGER is looking at making it big at the box office, he didn't want any negative publicity," says a source.

Later when he openly started challenging Pakistan's confinement of Sarabjit Singh, many termed it as a publicity stunt for EK THA TIGER which further hurt him in a big way.

"When a regular Indian raises a case of a fellow citizen, it is called patriotism. When Salman does it, it is called opportunism," the associate continues, "He was emotionally charged when he took the case on Twitter and also met Sarabjit's family. However it would disappoint anyone if an act like this is also looked with suspicion."

Resultantly, he has been lying low since then. Moreover, since he is gearing up for the new schedule of DABANGG 2, it is obvious that he would be taking the form of 'Tiger' only a few days down the line.
