One of the interesting upcoming projects is the Rituparna Sengupta, Pitobash Tripathy and Amit Purohit starrer, AALAAP.

With Indi-Pop rock band, Agnee, looking after the music department, and one track "Ek Nayi Roshni", already quite popular, it is but obvious that rock music constitutes the backbone of AALAAP!

When we asked the lead actor of the film, Pitobash, about the same he told us, "Yes, the film is rock based, and it is quite unique (from the run of the mill musicals) in the sense that it tries to reform the naxalites and bring them back into the mainstream using rock music. It carries quite a positive message in an interesting manner." On a parting note we queried Pitobash if he had some musical talent (apart from his acting prowess!) as well, and he surprised us by saying, "Well, I can play the guitar and am a decent singer."

The Manish Manikpuri directed AALAAP and Alt Entertainments' KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM, are the two new releases of this Friday, and here's wishing the best to both!
