Farah Khan: SHIRIN FARHAD KI TOH NIKAL PADI is not just another comedy

Eros International and Bhansali Productions' SHIRIN FARHAD KI NIKAL PADI is already a subject of heated discussion, after audiences caught a glimpse of the trailer online. The film that marks the directorial debut of Bela Bhansali Sehgal, stars veteran comedian Boman Irani and introduces Farah Khan, as the director-choreographer makes her Bollywood acting debut.

Playing Shirin Fugawala, a 40-year-old, bubbly, straightforward, Parsi trust secretary Farah Khan couldn't be more excited to be making her Bollywood acting debut. Said Farah, "It took a lot of convincing to get me to do the film and I'm happy to say I made the right decision. SHIRIN FARHAD KI TOH NIKAL PADI is just not another comedy, it will make you laugh and cry and come out with a smile."

Added co-star Boman Irani, "It was a blast shooting with Farah under the direction of Bela Sehgal. After playing a Parsi husband for 27 years in real life, I get to play one in reel life."

Starring Boman Irani and Farah Khan, Bhansali Productions and Eros International's SHIRIN FARHAD KI TOH NIKAL PADI, directed by Bela Bhansali Sehgal is scheduled to release 24th August this year.
