Why Anubhav Sinha's WARNING doesn't feature any stars?

For his debut film as a producer, WARNING, Anubhav Sinha has made sure to keep it as a star-less affair. Though after RA.ONE one would have expected the filmmaker to go all out with a star-studded affair, Anubhav says that the sensibilities and setting of WARNING didn't warrant any known faces.

"Yes, that is one film which is being without stars. I am creating a horror franchise here and worldwide there have been several such franchises from which I have been inspired. For the first in the series, I have already bought remake rights. I plan to create a brand in the form of WARNING and starting this year, I aim to release one WARNING every year," Anubhav shares his ambition here.

It is due to this very franchise setup that Anubhav is sure of not roping in stars even in episodes to come. "These decisions are taken not by me but the film itself. You choose the film and then the film chooses everyone else; a film decides everything on its own. When you watch a film like WARNING, you would realise that it can't be made with stars. Even though I have started work on second episode of WARNING, I am not even considering roping in any stars even if the first one turns out to be a massive success. I am not lured by that," he says.

The first in the series of WARNING is expected to release before end of year.
