How is Sonam Kapoor different from other actresses?

Known for his passion of creating his characters up, close and personal, filmmaker Anand L Rai is all set to bring a different Sonam Kapoor on screen with RAANJHANA. For her too it would be a journey to an altogether different world, even though she had stepped into the interior setting of the country with MAUSAM.

''MAUSAM was an extremely difficult film to do because of its setting and I was constantly stressed. It was enjoyable for sure but then it was also a lot of hard work. On the other hand PLAYERS was a lot of fun, what with cool dialogues, fast cars and an overall adrenaline rush kind of an affair. Now RAANJHANA should be an altogether different experience,'' says Sonam in a hopeful tone.

No wonder, she has managed similar attitude for her wardrobe and overall styling as well that has been way different from a contemporary Bollywood leading lady. Whether it was AISHA or PLAYERS, she has believed in chartering a different path for herself, something which is expected for RAANJHANA as well.

''I don't have to dress or behave the way other actresses do,'' she says, ''After all, people like me because I do things differently. Whether it is my acting style or the dressing sense, they are all different from the rest. That in fact is my very USP. I don't want to be a part of the crop.''

Well, with Aanand at the forefront who presented Kangana Ranaut too quite differently in TANU WEDS MANU, it would be interesting to see how he collaborates with Sonam to present her differently and make RAANJHANA special.
