Emraan Hashmi: It would be great to work with Kareena

While it is now almost certain that Kareena Kapoor would be the leading lady opposite Emraan Hashmi in Karan Johar's next with director Rensil D'Silva, the writing is clear on the wall that one of the youngest superstars of the lot has found a new space for himself. Though he has been credited for giving a platform for many newcomer girls in the past, this is the first time when he would be doing a film with an actress who is more experienced than him. However, instead of being over the moon and making any wild declarations, Emraan is staying on to be humble and composed as he looks forward to the shoot.

Says Emraan, "Now who has been eventually finalised is something that the producers would be able to tell you better. Whether it is Kareena or any other experienced actress, it would be great to work with them. I would most definitely gain some good experience since they have been around for so long."

On his part though, Emraan is guarded before making any announcement of his own since the leading lady for the film is yet to be declared. While it has been widely said that Kareena is keen to feature in the film, there are talks about other top billed superstar heroines to have woken up to his mass appeal as well.

"Well, whichever girl makes it for my forthcoming films are only going to add on to my pairing since I have mainly worked with newcomers. It should only get further interesting from here," smiles Emraan before signing off.
