Om Puri sings 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'

Veteran Bollywood actor Om Puri has turned singer for his upcoming film RAAMBHAJJAN ZINDABAAD, as he recently recorded a song titled 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'.

RAAMBHAJJAN ZINDABAAD

The song was supposed to get recorded in October 2011, but due to his busy schedule Om Puri completed the song recording now.

Said Om Puri, ''Basically I am not a singer. During my NSD (National School of Drama) days, Naseeruddin Shah was my classmate. And we just scored 17 marks out of 50 for our singing ability. However, music director Vipin Patwa and director Ranjeet Gupta wanted me to sing some particular phrases of the song. So I attempted and tried it to give my best shot.''

Speaking about his film, the actor said that RAAMBHAJJAN ZINDABAAD is a comic political satire that will go on floor in August and will be released by this year's end.
