Randeep, not Emraan, to star in MURDER 3

The once blue-eyed boy of Bhatt camp, Emraan Hashmi's claim to fame was with the film MURDER. In fact the success of MURDER opened the doors for Emraan in the vast industry to become a known name from an unknown face. Years later Emmy, as he is fondly referred, did MURDER 2, the second installment of MURDER, which again was a big hit.

However, Emraan won't be part of the third series of the franchise, it seems. As per the latest trade reports MURDER 3 will star Randeep Hooda in the lead. Now Emraan's ouster from the project is out of the long-time rift with the Bhatts or the actor is engaged with other big projects is something to be known.

As for the female lead, it is being said that Aditi Rao Hydari, of YEH SAALI ZINDAGI and LONDON PARIS NEW YORK fame, has been roped in. The Bhatts are also on the lookout for a fresh female face for the film.
