Nostalgia for Aamir, Abhishek with Jackie's return in DHOOM 3

When they worked together in RANGEELA (1995), Aamir Khan was experiencing stardom while Jackie Shroff was being an established star, both on and off the screen. However, post the Ram Gopal Varma musical, the duo was never seen together again. However Aditya Chopra has now made it possible by roping in the two actors for the most hyped film of the decade so far, DHOOM 3.

Confirms our source, ''Jackie's return would be special because it would be after 18 years when he and Aamir would be seen together on screen again. The film releases next year and though Jackie has been seen in one movie or the other at regular intervals, DHOOM 3 would be an actual comeback of sorts. He would be seen in a very well written part.''

Expectedly though, the makers are quiet on the veteran actor's role as well as his persona in the film. However with the film being one of the biggest, costliest and the glossiest ever to come out of Bollywood, the coming together of Aamir and Jackie is being made extra special.

'This would be special for Abhishek (Bachchan) too since the last Hindi film that he did with Jackie sir was BAS ITNA SA KHWAAB HAI (2001) where he played an antagonist,' the source continues.

When contacted, YRF didn't divulge further details on Jackie Shroff's characterisation and presentation.

Meanwhile one can already see some pleasant vibes being generated between Aamir and Jackie since Tiger Shroff has been busy training the perfectionist Khan to rebuild his physique for the film. Guess it would well turn out to be a family affair here.
