Simple start for simple Esha Gupta in JANNAT 2

JANNAT 2 is all set to release and if the promos are any indication, Esha Gupta appears to be a newbie who is going to sizzle with a lot of grace.
 
However when it comes to her real life, not much is really known about her except for the fact that she comes from a beauty queen background. No wonder, one is tempted to ask Esha about her real self.

"For starters, I am not someone who is very difficult to talk to," she smiles, "At least 90% of the times I know what I am talking about; I am that sure of myself. Also, I am one of those people who can have fun and also take it all even if the joke is on you. At heart, I am as simple a girl as there can be one."

These were some of the simplistic traits that also did the trick for Esha when she was being auditioned for the part of Jahnvi in the film.

"Kunal (Deshmukh) was very particular for casting and he was sure that he didn't just want a good looking girl. He wanted me to go through auditions. I still remember that it was a very rough scene and I had to learn my lines in just half a day. I was of course nervous but at the time of audition, it was all good. Kunal really loved my audition and the very next day, Mukeshji called me and said that I was on. Of course I was ecstatic," she says.

For a simple girl, this indeed seems to be rather way too simple proceeding to bag a film. However, in the girl's defense, we would like to believe the simplicity involved here!

With Emraan Hashmi in the lead and music by Pritam, JANNAT 2 releases all over on 4th May.
