Shahid, Prabhu, Sonakshi, Bipasha at IIFA press meet

The highly anticipated awards show of 2012 is around the corner. IIFA will be hosting its annual award show, where beauty, glamour and entertainment merge in an unforgettable extravaganza.

The A-list performers line up of Sonakshi Sinha, Shahid Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Prabhu Deva were unveiled yesterday in Mumbai, as the actors graced a media gathering to announce the IIFA Weekend.

Shahid addressed the media that he will be hosting the show as well as performing. Shahid has previously performed at IIFA in Singapore (2004) and Amsterdam (2005).Said Shahid, ''I am extremely excited about the IIFA's this year especially because it is my first time hosting this global event. It is always wonderful to be part of this grand celebration, it reassures the reach of Indian Cinema and I could not be more thrilled to represent our film fraternity.''

Prabhu Deva will choreograph the entire event. Well, this will be for the first time when choreographer turned filmmaker Prabhu Deva will choreograph an entire award ceremony.

Gorgeous actresses Bipasha Basu and Sonakshi Sinha will also entertain the audience with their performance at the event. Actor Sonakshi Sinha said, ''The IIFA stage is an exhilarating platform for any performer and Singapore is going to be truly exciting, with millions of screaming fans in attendance. It is a great opportunity for me personally to represent Indian Cinema on such a global scale. I am sure that the IIFAs this year will rock too!''

This magical celebration will be held in the scintillating city of Singapore from June 7th through June 9th, and the most talented and distinguished celebrities of Indian Cinema will be in attendance.
