Arjun-Parineeti's ISHAQZAADE to release in UK, US this week

Yash Raj Films' latest release, ISHAQZAADE, will turn out to be a profitable venture for them, and mark a successful debut for Arjun Kapoor, and consolidate the position of Parineeti Chopra in the industry.

While ISHAQZAADE has already recovered sixty percent of its 20-21 crore (all inclusive) cost for the producer and worldwide distributors Yash Raj Films, the successful theatrical run in India will make sure that it yields a handsome profit for YRF.

However, what comes as a surprise to most following box-office is that the overseas collections of ISHAQZAADE have still not been declared, and the reason is that the film has not been released in two of the biggest overseas circuits. For reasons best known to YRF themselves the film has not been released in US and UK. Agree that the film stars newcomers but the premier film production house has a tremendous reputation amongst the overseas audience which patronizes most of their films, whether star studded or otherwise.

Good news from the trade is that ISHAQZAADE will be released this week in both US and UK. Some trade analysts are of view that Yash Raj wanted to avoid the Hollywood biggies and so they postponed the release to next week.

As for Pakistan, the film may not release there at all because Aditya Chopra refused to accept the changes that the Pakistani censors wanted.
