Kunal Kohli: TERI MERI KAHAANI is a path breaking film

It seems Kunal Kohli has a deep rooted penchant for romantic scripts. That is the reason why the filmmaker has once again chosen the love subject in his forthcoming film. At a time when other directors are more concerned about making different films, Kunal Kohli has no inhibitions to accept that he loves to make films that have a major romantic theme.

Speaking about his love for romantic films, Kohli says, "Just like Yashji, I too want to keep coming back with films belonging to this genre on a regular basis. TERI MERI KAHAANI is just the next step in that direction. This is the first time that a narrative like this has been adapted for a film. It is a path breaking film in all senses. It was very ambitious of me to attempt this but the results would show on screen."

Throwing some more light on his film, the filmmaker adds, "Earlier, when I had said HUM TUM was different, people didn't believe me till the time they actually saw it. It happens. I am now saying that TERI MERI KAHAANI is a new and fresh film and if I am making that statement, I am prepared to hear audience feedback."

The film which stars Shahid and Priyanka is set to hit the screens on the 22nd of June this year.
